Ingredients
- 2 cups Milk (reserve 4 Tablespoons)
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 4 Tablespoons Sugar
- 4 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
Method
- Heat 1 AA3/4 cups milk with butter to simmer.
- Blend 4 tablespoons reserved milk, egg yolks, sugar and flour.
- When milk reaches simmer, add some hot milk to egg mixture -- continue until egg mixture is tempered
- Add egg mixture to milk
- Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened
- Cool.
- Add Vanilla.
