Ingredients
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
Method
- Combine sugar, flour, salt and 3/4 cup milk.
- Mix.
- Add egg yolks and beat.
- Put in rest of milk and butter.
- Cook in double boiler until thick.
- Beat in vanilla.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Add meringue and brown.
