Ingredients
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 chicken, cut up
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- oil
- add seasoning, if desired
Method
- Combine first 3 ingredients.
- Pour buttermilk mixture over top of chicken.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
- Remove chicken from liquid.
- Dredge chicken in flour mixture.
