Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. butter flavor or vanilla flavor
  • 1 small box vanilla pudding

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar; add flavoring.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon less than 2 cups flour and dry pudding in another bowl.
  • By hand, mix eggs in, one at a time.
  • Mix all ingredients together; pour into greased and floured tube pan.
  • Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes. Do not open oven or cake will fall.
