Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. tomato puree
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 2 tsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 can (10 count) refrigerated buttermilk or country style biscuits
- 1/3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Melt margarine in 8-inch round baking pan and rotate to cover bottom.
- Combine tomato puree, onion, parsley, garlic salt, oregano and oil.
- Separate biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
- Drop into tomato mixture, tossing lightly with fork. Place pieces in buttered pan and distribute evenly.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake in preheated 400° oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Makes 40 canapes.
