Ingredients
- 3 tsp. butter
- 3 tsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
- 4 oz. sour cream
- 8 to 10 eggs, hard-boiled
- 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
Method
- Cream Sauce:
- Melt butter and add flour.
- Cook 2 minutes. Slowly add milk and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
- Add Cheez Whiz.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Add sour cream.
- Slice eggs and layer with cream sauce, mushrooms and bacon in large casserole. Repeat layers, ending with bacon.
- Bake at 350° until bubbly. Serve over English muffins.
