Ingredients

  • 3 tsp. butter
  • 3 tsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
  • 4 oz. sour cream
  • 8 to 10 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms

Method

  • Cream Sauce:
  • Melt butter and add flour.
  • Cook 2 minutes. Slowly add milk and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  • Add Cheez Whiz.
  • Cool to room temperature.
  • Add sour cream.
  • Slice eggs and layer with cream sauce, mushrooms and bacon in large casserole. Repeat layers, ending with bacon.
  • Bake at 350° until bubbly. Serve over English muffins.
