- 4 cups frozen broccoli, chopped small
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 slices American cheese
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 12 teaspoon dried onion
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Method
- Cook broccoli according to package directions.
- Drain any liquid and chop until its very fine.
- Or chop in food processor.
- Warm 1/2 cup of chicken broth in bottom of a dutch oven, when broth is simmering, stir in flour, mix well.
- Then add remaining ingredients and heat till all cheese is melted.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes or until soup thickens up.
- Serve.
