Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lb. chuck roast
  • 2 medium chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 2 large cans tomato sauce
  • 1 large chopped green pepper
  • 1/3 c. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 c. catsup

Method

  • Cook chuck roast until it falls apart (not dry).
  • Mix ingredients, except roast; bring to a boil.
  • Add meat and simmer. (Add canned tomatoes or tomato juice if too dry.)
