Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 roll garlic cheese spread
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
  • bread crumbs, made from 2 slices bread
  • 1/2 pkg. blanched almonds, toasted
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter

Method

  • Over low heat, cook soup, cheese, mushrooms and onion in 2 tablespoons butter until cheese melts.
  • Add onion, salt, pepper and Tabasco.
  • Cook broccoli until moisture is gone.
  • Place in greased casserole and pour sauce over broccoli.
  • Mix bread crumbs with 2 tablespoons butter, melted, and sprinkle over sauce.
  • Then sprinkle with toasted almonds.
  • Bake at 300° for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
