Ingredients
- 2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 roll garlic cheese spread
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
- bread crumbs, made from 2 slices bread
- 1/2 pkg. blanched almonds, toasted
- dash of Tabasco
- 4 Tbsp. melted butter
Method
- Over low heat, cook soup, cheese, mushrooms and onion in 2 tablespoons butter until cheese melts.
- Add onion, salt, pepper and Tabasco.
- Cook broccoli until moisture is gone.
- Place in greased casserole and pour sauce over broccoli.
- Mix bread crumbs with 2 tablespoons butter, melted, and sprinkle over sauce.
- Then sprinkle with toasted almonds.
- Bake at 300° for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
