Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pasta, penne
  • 1/2 bn Broccoli
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/3 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 clv garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 c. Cheese, Parmesan

Method

  • All amounts are estimates.
  • Feel free to change according to taste.
  • Cook penne till al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • While pasta is cooking, cut up broccoli flowerets and part of stem into bite size pcs.
  • Parcook broccoli.
  • Heat butter and extra virgin olive oil together.
  • Add in chopped garlic and cook till golden brown.
  • Add in broccoli and cook till just tender.
  • Add in liquid removed pasta and stir to cover and reheat.
  • Add in cheese and stir.
