Ingredients

  • 1/2 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 bunch broccoli
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. instant bouillon (chicken) or a cube
  • 1/2 tsp. each herb: dill weed, marjoram and thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/3 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Break vegetables into flowerets.
  • Steam 3 to 4 minutes separately. Drain.
  • Combine sour cream, cheese, flour, bouillon and mustard. Spread over vegetables in casserole, a shallow baking dish.
  • Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over top. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Serves 4.
