- 1/2 head cauliflower
- 1/2 bunch broccoli
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. instant bouillon (chicken) or a cube
- 1/2 tsp. each herb: dill weed, marjoram and thyme
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/3 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Break vegetables into flowerets.
- Steam 3 to 4 minutes separately. Drain.
- Combine sour cream, cheese, flour, bouillon and mustard. Spread over vegetables in casserole, a shallow baking dish.
- Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over top. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serves 4.
