Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 5/8 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 yeast pouch
  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 egg yolk for dusting

Method

  • Place in the cup the milk, salt, sugar and margarine and schedule 1 min., 37° C, speed 2.
  • Add the egg yolks and yeast and set 10 sec. speed 2.
  • Add flour and scheduling 1 min. spike speed.
  • Shape small balls with the dough and place them on the baking tray sprinkled with a little flour.
  • Brush the top with egg yolk and bring to a pre-heated oven at 50°C for 20 minutes to double in volume.
  • Then increase the temperature to 180°C for about 25 minutes.
  • Serve still hot with butter.
