Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 2 to 6 slices bread, cubed or enough to cover baking dish
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 1/4 c. grated sharp cheese
- 5 eggs, beaten
Method
- Brown sausage and drain well.
- Line bottom of 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish with bread cubes.
- Sprinkle sausage over bread. Sprinkle cheese on sausage.
- Mix remaining ingredients and beat well.
- Pour mixture over sausage and cheese.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Bake as directed when ready to serve.
- May also be frozen.
- Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Serves 6 to 8.
