Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 6 slices buttered bread
- 1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. cream
Method
- Put buttered bread in a buttered baking dish.
- Cook sausage until brown, stirring until crumbled.
- Drain and spoon over bread slices.
- Sprinkle cheese over meat.
- Combine eggs, salt and cream in a bowl.
- Mix well and pour over cheese. Refrigerate overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
- Heat oven to 350° and bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until set.
