Ingredients
- 4 qt. sliced cucumbers
- 6 medium onions
- 2 green peppers
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 c. salt
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 3 c. cider vinegar
Method
- Soak cucumbers, garlic, onion, peppers and salt 3 hours with crushed ice.
- Heat rest and drain cucumbers; bring to a boil. Seal.
- Makes 8 1/2 pints.
