Ingredients
- 2 cups all-bran cereal
- 4 cups bran buds
- 2 cups hot water
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 5 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 cups flour
Method
- Pour All Bran and Bran Buds into a large bowl, cover with water and let soften for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400'.
- In another bowl cream together sugar, butter, eggs, milk and soda.
- Add creamed mixture to bran and add flour.
- Mix VERY well.
- Spoon batter into muffin tins filling completely.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes for regular sized muffins.
- Cool on wire rack.
