Ingredients
- 2 c. water
- 5 tsp. soda
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. Bran Buds
- 5 c. flour
- 4 c. All-Bran
- 4 eggs
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Boil water; add soda and let cool.
- In separate bowl, add remaining ingredients.
- Combine.
- Add cooled water and soda mixture.
- This will keep in fridge for up to 6 weeks.
- Makes about 50 muffins.
- Bake at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes or until done.
