Ingredients
- 1 box (12 oz.) raisin bran or bran flakes
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 c. flour
- 5 tsp. soda
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 c. oil
Method
- Blend flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
- Stir in cereal.
- Add buttermilk, oil and eggs and blend until moistened.
- Do not stir batter again!
- Store in a covered non-metal bowl in refrigerator. May be stored up to six weeks.
- When needed, fill lightly greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
- Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
