Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. corn oil
- 1 large yellow onion chopped
- 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 medium green cabbage chopped
- salt
- pepper
Method
- Heat oil in a 12 inch skillet over moderate heat for 1 minute. Add onion and saute for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Add cabbage, toss for 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Cover skillet.
- Cook for 40 minutes, stirring often.
- Add tomatoes.
- Salt and pepper (to taste).
- Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes longer.
