Ingredients
- 1 can ready to spread chocolate icing
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 devil's food cake mix
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. oil
- 3 eggs
Method
- Heat oven to 350° and flour 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Spread frosting into bottom of prepared pan.
- Sprinkle nuts over frosting.
- In large bowl blend cake mix, water, oil and eggs.
- Beat 2 minutes at highest speed.
- Pour batter over frosting in pan.
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately invert pan onto serving plate.
- Serve warm or cold. Yields 12 servings.
