Ingredients
- 3 c. milk, scalded
- 1 c. whipping cream (unwhipped)
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
Method
- Use heavy saucepan.
- When the 3 cups milk have reached the scalding point, remove from heat and stir in sugar and 4 well beaten eggs; then the whipping cream.
- Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture coats a wooden spoon.
