Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. blueberries

Method

  • Combine the first 6 ingredients thoroughly with pastry blender until coarse crumb consistency.
  • Take out 1 cup; reserve for topping.
  • To remaining mixture, add the eggs and milk.
  • After blending, fold in the blueberries, which have been dusted with sugar-cinnamon mixture to coat.
  • Pour into two 8-inch round cake pans; sprinkle the reserved crumbs on top.
  • Bake at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes.
  • (Freezes well.)
