Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 box blueberries, washed and drained
  • sugar for sprinkling
  • cinnamon for sprinkling
  • powdered sugar

Method

  • Grease an 8 or 9-inch deep dish pie plate.
  • Mix together, by hand, the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, margarine and egg. Pat half the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Top with blueberries sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.
  • By hand, make crumbs with the remaining mixture and sprinkle over top.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour. When cool, add powdered sugar.
