Ingredients
- 1 qt. fresh blueberries
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 qt. vanilla ice cream
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Wash and drain berries in a colander. Place them in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with the lemon juice and cinnamon.
- Sift flour and sugar together.
- With a knife or pastry blender chop in the butter until it is crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture over the berries and bake for 45 minutes. Serve with the ice cream.
- Serves 6.
