Ingredients

  • 1 qt. fresh blueberries
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Wash and drain berries in a colander. Place them in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle with the lemon juice and cinnamon.
  • Sift flour and sugar together.
  • With a knife or pastry blender chop in the butter until it is crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture over the berries and bake for 45 minutes. Serve with the ice cream.
  • Serves 6.
