Ingredients

  • Prepared chili sauce, 2 bottles
  • 2 jalapeno chiles, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 oz Samuel Adams Boston Lager
  • 2/3 cup Jack Daniel's old #7
  • 2 tbsp Pickapeppa sauce

Method

  • Saute minced jalapeno, garlic and onions in olive oil.
  • Add chili sauce, beer and Jack Daniel's and bring to a boil.
  • Add remaining ingredients (except Pickapeppa sauce).
  • Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally until reduced by 2/3 (1-2 hours)
  • Remove from heat and stir in Pickapeppa sauce.
