Ingredients

  • 1 whole White Or Yellow Onion, Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 whole Avocado, Cut Into Bite Sized Chunks
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Refried Black Beans
  • 1/2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Whole Black Beans, Drained
  • 1 cup Cheese, Grated (whatever Your Favorite Cheese Is)
  • 1/2 cups Salsa (any Kind Will Do)
  • 6 Tablespoons Hot Sauce (whatever Your Favorite Is)
  • Chips, To Serve

Method

  • Chop the onion.
  • Mince the garlic.
  • Chop the avocado.
  • Heat a medium-sized sauce pan to medium heat and melt the butter.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the onion and garlic and saute until onions become translucent.
  • Add in all the beans and reduce heat to low; stir.
  • Add in grated cheese and stir until melted.
  • Add in salsa and stir until mixed.
  • Transfer bean dip to a serving bowl.
  • Cover the top of the beans completely with your favorite hot sauce (you may not need 6 tablespoons, just use enough to put a thin layer over the top of the dip).
  • Put chopped avocado on top.
  • Serve with chips.
