Ingredients

  • 2 packages crackers Maria, or shortbread biscuits
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 7 1/8 tablespoons margarine melted
  • 1 3/8 cups almond flakes
  • almonds to decorate
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg

Method

  • Break the the biscuits into pieces and reduce them to flour, in a blender, or crush with a rolling pin.
  • Add all ingredients except the egg, and mix well.
  • Add the egg and stir well with a wooden spoon, or an electric mixer until dough is homogeneous.
  • Place the dough on a plate, and refrigerate for a few minutes. Or freeze if you are in hurry. Form small balls, and decorate with almonds to taste.
  • Place in small paper molds and refrigerate until serving.
