Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Method

  • Combine 1 1/2 c. flour and yeast.
  • Heat lowfat milk (just till hot).
  • Add in sugar, shortening, salt, egg and dry mix and beat 3 min.
  • Add in flour.
  • Shape into balls and let rise 1 hour (till double).
  • Punch down, roll out dough.
  • Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  • Cut into rolls and place in greased pan.
  • Let rise till double.
  • Bake at 400 degrees till golden (about 20 min).
