Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 c. butter
  • 4 c. hot water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 beaten Large eggs
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 16-17 c. flour

Method

  • At 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. dissolve yeast in 1 c. hot water; set aside.
  • Heat butter, cold and add in 4 c. hot water, sugar, Large eggs and salt.
  • Beat in 8 c. flour till smooth; add in yeast.
  • Add in 8 to 9 c. flour.
  • Knead.
  • Let rise 3 hrs.
  • Punch down.
  • Make into buns, cinnamon rolls or possibly whatever.
  • Let rise till morning.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min for cinnamon rolls.
  • Makes a lot.
  • I let it rise up in my large canner pan.
