Ingredients
- 3 gal. beets
- 10 1/2 c. vinegar
- 4 1/2 c. water
- 6 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. allspice
- 3 sticks cinnamon
Method
- Add sugar and spice to vinegar and water; simmer for 15 minutes, then add prepared beets in jar and fill with liquid to cover beets and seal.
