- 3 lb. chuck beef, cubed
- 2 tsp. meat tenderizer
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 3 c. water
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Method
- Sprinkle
- meat tenderizer,
- pepper,
- salt and thyme on beef. Turn
- meat several
- times to coat evenly.
- In roaster oven,
- or large Corning dish, cook, uncovered, in oven at 400° for
- 1 hour to brown, turning only once.
- Add remaining ingredients,
- stirring thoroughly.
- Cook, uncovered, at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender.
- Serve over rice.
