Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2-inch cooking oil in skillet
- 12 to 14 soft
Method
- Season beef with monosodium glutamate, salt, chili powder and garlic powder.
- Heat the skillet.
- Put raw beef mixture in center of tortillas, and fold over, drop into hot oil and fry for 1 minute and 30 seconds on each side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towel.
- Stuff remaining open space with shredded lettuce and chopped tomato.
- Yields 12 to 14 servings.
