- 3 lb. boneless beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3 c. wide egg noodles, cooked
- salt, pepper and flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 pt. sour cream
Method
- Slice meat into pieces 1/4-inch thick.
- Dust with seasoned flour and brown in melted butter.
- Remove meat.
- In same skillet, saute onion and garlic.
- Add mushrooms and saute until tender. Add both soups, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
- Stir in the meat.
- Cover and simmer until tender.
- (Sirloin will take about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Round or chuck longer.)
- When meat is tender, add sour cream and heat until hot.
- Serve over noodles.
