Ingredients

  • 3 lb. boneless beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3 c. wide egg noodles, cooked
  • salt, pepper and flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 pt. sour cream

Method

  • Slice meat into pieces 1/4-inch thick.
  • Dust with seasoned flour and brown in melted butter.
  • Remove meat.
  • In same skillet, saute onion and garlic.
  • Add mushrooms and saute until tender. Add both soups, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
  • Stir in the meat.
  • Cover and simmer until tender.
  • (Sirloin will take about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Round or chuck longer.)
  • When meat is tender, add sour cream and heat until hot.
  • Serve over noodles.
