Ingredients
- 2/3 c. rice
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 medium, chopped onion
- 2 stalks celery, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked beef (may use any beef)
Method
- Cook rice in hot oil until golden brown.
- Add salt, water, bouillon cube and soy sauce.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer (it may be necessary to add more water).
- All water should be absorbed at end of cooking time.
- If not, remove lid and cook until water evaporates.
