Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. steak, cut in thin strips
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 1 c. converted rice
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce or to taste
- 2 green peppers, coarsely chopped
- 1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, drained
Method
- Brown beef in oil in skillet.
- Stir in onions, rice, beef broth, one soup can of water and the soy sauce.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook over low heat until liquid is absorbed, about 25 minutes.
- Stir in peppers and pimentos; heat thoroughly.
