Ingredients

  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/2 c. Half and half
  • 2 c. Seasoned dressing mix
  • 1/2 lb Lean grnd beef
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pkt Onion C.-a-Soup
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. Half and half
  • 1 c. Jack, or possibly Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 x Green onions, minced (including tops)
  • 1 dsh Tabasco sauce Paprika

Method

  • Mix egg and half and half in a medium size bowl.
  • Stir in dressing mix.
  • Set aside till dressing mix absorbs egg and cream mix.
  • Crumble beef into bread mix.
  • Add in Worcestershire sauce and soup mix.
  • Blend well.
  • Spoon into a 9 inch pie dish.
  • Press mix firmly against bottom and sides of dish to create a crust.
  • Mix Large eggs and half and half in a medium size bowl.
  • Add in cheese, onions and Tabasco sauce.
  • Blend well.
  • Pour into meat crust.
  • Sprinkle with paprika.
  • Place quiche on an inverted saucer in microwave oven.
  • Cover with wax paper.
  • Microwave at medium high (70%) 7 min.
  • Remove wax paper.
  • Microwave at medium (50%) till center is set, 16 to 18 min.
  • Let stand 5 min.
  • Makes 6 servings.
