Ingredients

  • 1 can red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can baby butter beans, drained
  • 2 to 3 cans pork and beans, don't drain
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, browned and broken into bits
  • 1/2 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tsp. vinegar

Method

  • Chop onion into hamburger as it is cooking.
  • In large pan, mix together sugar, brown sugar, ketchup, dry mustard and vinegar. Add meat.
  • Add beans.
  • Stir.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes uncovered.
  • Good if made up the night before and let marinate. Can also cook in crock-pot.
