Ingredients
- 1 large head red cabbage, washed and coarsely sliced
- 6 tart apples, cored & quartered
- 2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cups hot water
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup cider vinegar
Method
- Place all the ingredients into the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or high 3 hours.
- Stir well before serving.
