Ingredients
- 8 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 c. shortening, softened
- 4 c. rolled oats, uncooked
Method
- Sift together flour, sugar, salt and soda in large bowl.
- Cut in shortening until mix resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in oats. Store mix in covered container at room temperature.
- Yields 14 cups.
