- 3 lb. ribs, cut in small pieces
- 1 onion
- 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 c. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Brown ribs in bacon drippings.
- Combine all other ingredients; cook slowly until flavors are well blended, about 15 minutes. Pour sauce over browned ribs.
- Cover and bake in moderate oven (350°) for about 1 1/2 hours.
