Ingredients
- 6 c. sliced bananas, very ripe
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
Method
- Place bananas in large bowl or enameled pot.
- Add lemon juice and sugar.
- Allow to stand for about an hour.
- In a large enameled pot bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
- Continue to cook for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Stir constantly to keep from sticking.
- Pour into sterilized jars.
