Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. rum extract
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. mashed bananas
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs, rum extract, vanilla, bananas and flour.
  • Beat until smooth.
  • Add pecans.
  • Pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes or until done.
  • Cool slightly and spread Peanut Frosting while still warm.
  • Cool in pan and cut into bars.
