Ingredients
- Garlic (3-6 gloves) (minced)
- 1 large shallot (minced)
- yellow bell pepper
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Bacon
- Brown Sugar
- Green beans
- Salt & pepper
- Parmesan Cheese
Method
- I start with cleaned and cut green beans. The thinner the better for this dish in my opinion.
- Add some oil to a saute pan and add the green beans.
- To the pan add the balsamic, the minced garlic and shallot. Add a large handful of brown sugar to the beans.
- Do not cook completely. Just until they get a little coat.
- Remove from pan and add to baking dish.
- Add your bacon and bell pepper to saute pan. When done add to baking dish with beans and toss.
- Pour in some more balsamic and then sprinkle with more brown sugar. Salt and Pepper.
- Cover with the Parmesan. Once the crust is golden brown it's ready to serve and plate.
