Ingredients
- 4 to 5 fresh ripe peaches, peeled thinly and sliced
- 5 slices bread (day old preferred), cubed
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 egg
Method
- Butter a 9 or 10-inch pie dish at least 1 1/2 inches deep. Place peaches in dish.
- Spread bread evenly over peaches.
- Mix melted butter, sugar, flour and egg together until well blended. Pour evenly over bread, making sure all bread is covered.
- Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
