Ingredients
- 16 ounces semi sweet chocolate
- 3/4 cup brown sugar light, packed
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups nuts chopped
Method
- Heat oven to 350 . Coarsely chop 8 squares of the chocolate, set aside. Microwave remaining 8 squares of chocolate in large microwave safe bowl on HIGH 1-2 minutes. Stire until chocolate is melted and smooth. Stir in sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking powder.
- Fold in remaining chocolate and nuts. Drop by 1 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-13 minutes.
