Ingredients

  • 5 lb. shrimp in shells
  • 1 lb. oleo
  • 2 oz. black pepper
  • juice of 4 lemons
  • 1 large bottle Wishbone Italian dressing
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • paprika to turn sauce red
  • 5 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce

Method

  • Put washed shrimp in a large roasting pan.
  • Melt oleo in saucepan.
  • Add pepper, salad dressing, lemon juice and rest of ingredients.
  • Pour over raw shrimp.
  • Marinate overnight.
  • Cook, covered, for 45 minutes at 350°.
  • Test after 30 minutes.
  • Serve on a platter.
  • Sauce is delicious for dunking.
