Ingredients
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, plus 1 teaspoon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Method
- Combine oats, sugar, flour, and salt; mix well.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Drop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart onto aluminum foil-lined cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 6 to 8 minutes or until edges are brown.
- Cool completely before removing.
