Ingredients
- 1 lb. elbow macaroni
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 5 c. milk
- 3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- grated Parmesan cheese to sprinkle
Method
- Boil 1 pound of Mueller's elbow macaroni, drain and set aside. Melt butter in a pot over low flame.
- Slowly add flour and salt and blend.
- Stir constantly with milk added, and cook slowly over low heat until sauce thickens a little.
- Add Cheddar cheese.
- Mix with macaroni.
- Place in a large baking dish.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
