Ingredients
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 (3 lb.) fryer, cooked and deboned. cut up in bite-size pieces
- crushed cornflakes
- 1 pkg. slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
Method
- Mix all ingredients but almonds and cornflakes.
- Sprinkle these on top and drizzle butter on top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes covered at 300°.
- Uncover and brown.
