Ingredients
- 4 whole chicken breasts, split, skinned and boned
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, well drained
- 4 (6 x 4-inch) slices Swiss cheese
- 1 1/4 c. Thousand Island salad dressing
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Place chicken in single layer in greased baking pan.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Spoon sauerkraut over chicken.
- Arrange cheese over sauerkraut.
- Pour dressing over top. Cover pan and bake about 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is tender. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
